Midwest Super Conference - I’m Going!!
That’s right! I’m heading to the Midwest Super Conference. This will be my first internet marketing focused conference, and I’m very much looking forward to being around all the talent and information that will be literally walking around me.
The guys over at Internet Business Mastery frequently mention the importance of staying educated in the world of internet marketing, and even describe it as an investment in yourself. They have some great podcasts, by the way, so I suggest you check them out.
Throughout August, I’ve ran across several free webinars from Jeff Mills that were all informative and allowed me to get some high-level previews of content and speaker caliber at the upcoming Midwest Super Conference. Jeff is the creator and operator of the conference and I must say that I’m impressed with him, his staff (specifically Henry Griner), and the varied roster of speakers he’s got coming to the conference. The webinars have taught me several how-to’s but have also shown me that there is definitely much to learn, and paid seminars like the Midwest Super Conference are priceless goldmines of information, contacts, and possible Joint Venture partners.
While the webinars have been enticing, I really became sold when I found out who was on the list of presenters, and the varied areas of their expertise. I’m specifically interested in Matthew Glanfield who is a new but VERY successful Affiliate Marketer, Sherry Watson who is an expert on training others how to consistently get grant money (who doesn’t need that), and Pat Lovell who is a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) magician! He presented on one of Jeff Mill’s webinars, and actually improved the Google search engine index ranking instantly (Live on the webinar) for one the webinar attendees! In addition to SEO, Pat Lovell is also an authority on using Google Adsense.
I suggest anyone in internet marketing, whether new or seasoned veteran take in some conferences like Jeff’s to keep up with the industry’s changes, learn new techniques, and network with so many other possible partners. If nothing else, conferences like this offer those that attend the chance to get direct access to various successful people and absorb priceless nuggets of their information.
